The Barley Mow Inn is a large 1930s brick built suburban pub, situated on the main Durham Road, on the county boundary.

Popular with local residents, the Inn has a split level lounge plus dining area and a public bar. It runs several darts and dominoes teams.

We offer thirteen ever changing real ales that come from local micro-breweries as well via the SIBA direct delivery scheme. Live music plays every Thursday and Saturday and a quiz is held weekly.

Our annual beer festival is onto its 7th year and the next one will be Thursday 7th Febuary till Monday 11th Febuary 2013 featuring a variety of guest beers and lots of live entertainment. Click here for more information.
